Senior Ruby Developer Dublin €80-100k
My client based in Dublin has an immediate requirement to recruit a Senior Ruby Developer who is able to work within a dynamic team charged with developing complex and scalable software solutions to a blue-chip globally recognised client base.
The ideal candidate will have an innovative mindset with excellent awareness of new technologies, a solid grasp on the full engineering stack and someone who that thrives in a collaborative product development and engineering environment.
A minimum of five years of commercial experience with Ruby is necessary to meet my client’s development needs. Although your focus will primarily on the backend, you must be a proficient full-stack developer using HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
Job Responsibilities:
- Write clean code to develop functional web applications
- Participate in the entire application life cycle
- Write tests to optimize the stability of the applications
- Gather and address technical design requirements
- Build reusable code for future use
- Follow emerging technologies
You will be a great fit for this role if you are
- A seasoned Ruby / Ruby on Rails developer with a minimum of 5 years commercial experience
- An expert in object-orientated programming
- Skilled in delivering developer focused APIs (API design, documentation and scaling)
- Comfortable working in a Linux environment
- Interested in getting more exposure to RabbitMQ
- An experienced user of Git and familiar with modern management tools
