PMO Lead Midlands/WFH £33-35k
An excellent opportunity for a PMO Analyst to join an established company working with a Blue-Chip client base who have recently kicked off a large transformation programme to extend their global reach.
The successful candidate will be working with the Programme Manager to set up a new PMO function that will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on projects across the globe, ensuring projects are appropriately run and providing support to the wider project management team.
This role will be predominantly working from home with occasional trips to the office, so the ideal candidate will be based in the Midlands area.
Responsibilities:
- Support the planning, execution and closing of projects
- Interaction with stakeholders, Project Management and delivery teams
- Shaping and continuous improvement of PMO processes and automation of manual tasks
- Ensuring best practices are applied and defined processes are followed and conducting quality assurance
- Risk and issue management
- Monitor the budget and resources, ensuring that the customer is kept up to date on the progress and maintain systems with the contracts and planning milestones.
- Prioritization and organization workloads able to highlight potential bottlenecks
- Outcomes and benefits management
- Create and maintain clear and comprehensive project documentation, plans and reporting
Requirements
- 4+ years commercial PMO experience
- Excellent understanding of project governance
- Excellent IT skills, ideally with experience in Powerpoint/PowerBI
- Proven ability working with stakeholders driving improvement
- Highly organised mindset committed to meeting deadlines
- Self-starter and able to use own initiative
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Flexible and autonomous approach to work
