IT Operations Analyst - Leicestershire

IT Support Engineer           Ashby-de-la-Zouch      £25-28k

This is a real 5* opportunity for an ambitious Support Engineer to join a real leader in their field.

The successful candidate will become an integral part of the service desk team providing desktop, laptop and mobile support to both internal and external users in a fast-paced environment.

You should be ambitious and willing to learn on the job as new technologies emerge, with the opportunity for further development for individuals with aspirations to progress.

Responsibilities include:

  • Incident management and resolution as a first point of contact for users experiencing a variety of difficulties with their software, applications and/or hardware
  • Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level
  • Monitor service request queue and provide required resolution/escalation within service level agreements
  • Assist in software releases and roll-outs
  • Troubleshooting both hardware and software related IT incidents

Key Skills 

  • Excellent knowledge of Windows 10 and supporting technologies
  • Good knowledge of Active Directory & Group Policies
  • Exchange 2016 / Office 365
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies / Azure
  • Networking experience / Cisco
  • Virtualisation
