Electronics Engineer Dublin €50-70k
INFORM3 and recruiting for an Electronics Engineer to join an R&D team working towards the development of a new range of bespoke electronic products and expanding the existing suite of solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree qualification and 3+ years experience in low level programming. You will be given the chance to work in a role where you will get experience across embedded programming, circuit design, PCB layout, circuit prototyping and test, and this role will be ideal for an engineer who is looking to work in a range of electronics disciplines with a keen eye for detail.
You will be working in a small team so can expect plenty of variety in the role and chance to develop your skills in a fast paced and creative environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the electronics design and development, from concept through to mass production
- Designing, developing, coding, testing and debugging system software
- Designing and building functional test fixtures for multiple projects
- Helping to develop and deploy embedded software
- Documentation of the complete electronics development lifecycle
- Fault find or rework assemblies to support production as needed
Experience required for the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar
- Proven experience in developing electronics within an R&D role
- Programming knowledge C/C++ & embedded systems
- Experience in PCB design, using schematic capture and layout tools
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on prototyping & equipment experience
- Hands-on testing experience
