INFORM3 IT Recruitment are recruiting for a Senior Cloud Architect who is able to design and implement cloud architecture solutions for an expanding and global client base.
You will be engaging with key enterprise level customers, developing an understand their business requirements, creating roadmaps and delivering reliable and cost-effective cloud architectures helping their clients on their journey towards automation and infrastructure as code.
To be successful in this role you will have a deep understanding of Azure and a broad technical knowledge of IT Infrastructure, Networking and Visualization.
Responsibilities
- Understand customers business and technical challenges, uncover constraints, and prepare solutions to help customers achieve their goals
- Design and develop Azure Cloud Architecture solutions
- Design and develop CI/CD pipelines
- Provide subject matter expertise on cloud computing best practices
- Set and maintain architectural standards, policies and frameworks that govern all aspects of application development
Key Skills
- 5+ years experience in Solution Architecture
- Strong grasp of modern Azure services used in the implementation and migration of Enterprise solutions
- Software development background with an excellent knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (ideally Ansible or Terraform), Automation, Application Architecture and Enterprise Design Patterns
- Knowledge of other Cloud Service platforms such as AWS, GCP etc highly desirable
- Scripting experience with one or more of Python, Ruby, Powershell etc
- Scaling models for services on Azure
- Knowledge of Kubernetes including configuration and implementation
- Broad knowledge of Windows and Linux Operating Systems
