IT Support Engineer       Lisburn £28-30k

My client based in Lisburn has an immediate requirement to recruit an additional 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join their team.

The successful candidate will be providing Helpdesk Support to their expanding client base, with opportunities to be involved with project work in the future. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience providing technical support in a Windows environment, able to work autonomously and enjoy keeping up to date with the latest technologies.

You should be ambitious and willing to learn on the job as new technologies emerge, with the opportunity for further development for individuals with aspirations to progress.

Key Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Windows O/S and associated technologies
  • Cloud technologies, in particular Azure
  • Group Policies and Active Directory
  • Exchange / Office 365
  • Windows Server 2016/19
  • Basic networking, firewalls, WAN, LAN
  • Virtualisation, ideally VMWare
  • Comfortable liaising with technical and non-technical users
  • A driving license and own transport highly desirable
