IT Support Engineer       Chester                 £20-22k

My client based in Chester has an immediate requirement to recruit an additional IT Helpdesk Engineer to join their team.

The successful candidate will be providing Helpdesk and Desktop Support to their internal staff, with opportunities to be involved with project work in the future. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 years experience providing technical support in a busy helpdesk environment, able to work autonomously and enjoy keeping up to date with the latest technologies.

You should be ambitious and willing to learn on the job as new technologies emerge, with the opportunity for further development for individuals with aspirations to progress.

Key Requirements

  • Good knowledge of Windows O/S and associated technologies
  • Group Policies and Active Directory
  • Exchange / Office 365
  • Basic networking, firewalls, WAN, LAN
  • Hardware fault finding and support
  • Comfortable liaising with technical and non-technical users
  • Excellent telephone manner
